A FEW WORDS ABOUT CINCINNATI CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
Cincinnati Christian College is located in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is in the Avondale community, 3663 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229. The College was incorporated as a nonprofit organization on August 21, 1921 by a group of Baptist ministers. These ministers felt there was a great void in higher education for the clergy and lay leadership in the church. The incorporated name was The Cincinnati Baptist Theological Seminary. Since 1921, the college has experienced several name changes. The current name change was 1968. Cincinnati Christian College (CCC) more clearly reflects the purpose of the institution, in that it offers programs consistent with institutions of Christian education.
Although the name of the college has changed, the purpose remains the same. That purpose is to promote the cause of Christian Religion by providing a place of instruction in the doctrines of the Church and kindred subjects for men and women in preparation for Church ministries. Special emphasis is given to Biblical values, spiritual development and practical application.
Cincinnati Christian College is established to promote the cause of Christian religion and education for men and women, and to provide an atmosphere for instruction in Bible based concepts that enforce Christian doctrines, beliefs, morals and ethical principles. It is our aim to exalt God the Creator, Jesus Christ, as redeeming Savior, and the Holy Spirit, our constant Guide.
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth" 2 Timothy 2:15
